Wi-Fi for events
For events such as meetings or conferences on campus, the URZ offers guests and participants access to the University's Wi-Fi. No user account is required for use; access is granted on the basis of the event by means of a password.

The service offers users:
- access to the UL's "eduinfo" Wi-Fi network for a period of up to 4 weeks.
- a simple application for Wi-Fi access without a user account, but on the basis of the event by means of a password
- Internet access limited to the following protocols: http/s; imap/s; pop3/s; smtps; ssh; vpn
- In order to be able to set up the accesses, a lead time of at least 2 working days is required. We recommend ordering as early as possible.

REQUIREMENTS
The use of the service requires compliance with the following regulations:
- For all services of the University Computer Centre, the IuK usage regulations of the University Computer Centre of the University of Leipzig apply in principle. Misuse of services of the University Computer Centre may lead to the termination of the usage permit and, if applicable, to criminal proceedings.
