With Moodle, our university offers its staff and students a university-wide supported learning platform. No download or similar is required to use it.
Teaching-Learning-Platform Moodle (Teaching)
Moodle is the central teaching platform of the University of Leipzig. Teachers can use Moodle to digitally supplement their teaching and set up digital cooperative teaching-learning scenarios with and for their students. In addition, the use of the virtual course rooms of the learning platform is possible for employees of the University as well as for cooperating institutions in order to make special areas of knowledge digitally available. Moodle can be used to organise materials and information clearly and to actively support students in their learning processes.

Would you like to discuss subject-specific possibilities for using Moodle, learn how you can implement your teaching-learning scenarios with our e-learning offerings or offer new colleagues and/or students an introduction to Moodle at the University of Leipzig? We would be happy to visit you at your institute or train you via video conference in our Moodle training for institutes, which is individually coordinated with you.

You already know Moodle and would like to discover more possibilities of the learning platform? We will provide tips and assistance for the advanced use of Moodle in your course. During the training you will have the opportunity to discuss specific as well as general questions and topics with us.
Video conferencing with BigBlueButton (teaching)
The web conferencing system of Leipzig University offers the possibility to hold audio and video conferences and has basic features such as an integrated public and private chat, a shared whiteboard and the possibility to share presentations, videos or your own screen. Also use the integrated polling tool to activate your participants or the shared notes for collaborative work.
