The University Computer Centre supervises Bachelor's and Master's theses. As a student:in computer science, mathematics, economics or comparable fields of study, we give you the opportunity to design and implement a topic in a practice-oriented way.

As a student of computer science, mathematics, economics or comparable fields of study, you have the opportunity to write your thesis, e.g. Bachelor's or Master's thesis, at the University Computer Centre. The colleagues in the Infrastructure, User Services, Applications and Research and Development departments will be happy to support you. To do so, choose one of our prepared topics from our everyday operations or our current research and development projects. Alternatively, you have the option of approaching us with your own topic proposal. Together we will then determine the appropriate context and the course of the support.

Current open topics

  • Collection, categorisation, comparison and evaluation of feature extraction methods from spoken audio content such as audio books.
  • Development and testing of combined procedures for feature extraction of spoken audio content.
  • Transformation of the business model of collecting societies in the digital transformation - Development of a reference model for the business of collecting societies
  • Open topics in the field of data processing in the music industry (interfaces, processing of business data, evaluation of usage data,...)
