Content
The workshop teaches the proper handling of (digital) research data. The competence in research data management is the basis for efficient research processes within your projects and successful funding acquisition, prevents data loss, guarantees the findability and accessibility of data and enables their subsequent use.
Learning Goals
Acquaintance with and practical application of knowledge in the following areas:
- Good scientific practice
- Data management plans
- Metadata documentation
- Legal frameworks
- Data backup and storage
- Data archiving
- Publication of research data
The Registration takes place via the Leipzig University training portal.
Regular dates about 2x per semester.
The next dates will take place on:

Requirements
The use of the service requires compliance with the following regulations:
- For all services of the University Computer Centre, the IuK usage regulations of the University Computer Centre of the University of Leipzig apply in principle. Misuse of services of the University Computer Centre may lead to the termination of the usage permit and, if applicable, to criminal proceedings.
