Training: Visualising scientific data effectively and avoiding common pitfalls

This workshop aims to provide guidelines for creating correct, accessible and graphically appealing visualisations of scientific data. Participants will be introduced to the basics of graphic design for data visualisation and learn how to create scientifically correct, effective and attractive graphics and avoid common pitfalls in the visualisation of scientific data. The course is particularly useful for those preparing their first scientific publication.
