PC workstations in S-01 for training courses (seminar building)
The University Computer Centre provides PC workstations in the seminar building. Of these, 2 are separately designated as teaching pools, which are primarily reserved for teaching courses. The PC workstations are additionally equipped with special learning software and the rooms with large projections.
Our service for you
Location: Campus Innenstadt of the University of Leipzig in the seminar building on the basement level (Universitätsstraße 1, 04109 Leipzig).

This service offers users:
- 54 PC workstations with Internet connection and the following specifications: Hardware: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 cores) with 8 GB-RAM, DVD-ROM, USB connection, 21" LCD
Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Software: Microsoft Office 2019, LibreOffice, Citavi 6, LaTex, SPSS 27, Matlab R2019a, Statistica 13 - Associated hardware:
Printer: b/w laser printer, Lexmark T654 and MS811 (printer1 and printer2 in room S-04), one-sided/both-sided printing possible. - Projection: large-screen projection, whiteboard
Prerequisites
The use of the service requires compliance with the following regulations:
- For all services of the University Computer Centre, the IuK usage regulations of the University Computer Centre of the University of Leipzig apply in principle. Misuse of services of the University Computer Centre may lead to the termination of the usage permit and, if applicable, to criminal proceedings.

Furthermore, the teaching pools are primarily reserved for courses and are therefore not always available.
The 34 PCs in the upper gallery room can only be used for teaching events in connection with the lower gallery room. If the lower gallery room is used for a course, the upper room is blocked.
