The "Jupyter" service offers researchers, teachers and learners at Leipzig University and its cooperation partners an interactive web interface for using high-performance computing resources for data science and machine learning.

Our service for you

The service offers users:

  • initial consultation and user documentation
  • Extensive software catalogue (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Keras etc.)
  • Access within the network of Leipzig University
  • Access to GPUs to accelerate calculations

If you need additional software, please contact us. The price depends on any licences that may be required.

PREREQUISITES

The service can be used by:

  • Researchers with a currently valid personal university login or university login for guests.
  • The end device must be in the university network (LAN, WLAN+VPN).
  • SC infrastructure account/account

The following responsibilities must be named:

  • Contact person responsible for content:in with currently valid Uni-Login (IDM) of the University of Leipzig.

The use of the service requires compliance with the following regulations:

  • For all services of the University Computer Centre, the IuK usage regulations of the University Computer Centre of the University of Leipzig apply in principle. Misuse of services of the University Computer Centre may lead to the termination of the usage permit and, if applicable, to criminal proceedings.
