Microsoft Exchange email box for employees
Employees of Leipzig University can use a mailbox based on Microsoft Exchange in addition to the standard email box. Exchange is a groupware system from Microsoft that combines email, tasks, calendars, address books and many other practical functions. The Exchange email box can be used both with the Outlook software for your desktop and via a web frontend.
Our service for you
The service offers users:
Microsoft Exchange email box.
- initial storage quota of 5 GB
- extension of the storage space by a further 2 GB when the quota is exhausted (max. storage space quota is 12 GB, thereafter extension by individual agreement)
- Appointments, calendar, task management, contacts, notes
- Groupware functionality (share calendar, assign tasks, global address list)
- Outlook as desktop software and Outlook web app
- Help & Support

Prerequisites
The use of the service requires compliance with the following regulations:
- For all services of the University Computer Centre, the IuK usage regulations of the University Computer Centre of the University of Leipzig apply in principle. Misuse of services of the University Computer Centre may lead to the termination of the usage permit and, if applicable, to criminal proceedings.
