The University Computer Centre provides PC workstations in central PC pools. Some of these are separately designated as teaching pools, which are primarily reserved for teaching courses. The PC workstations are also equipped with special learning software and the rooms with interactive smartboards. Teaching pools are primarily reserved for courses and are therefore not always available. To reserve a course, please use our web form.

  • 20 PC workstations with Internet connection and the following specifications:
    Hardware: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8500 CPU @ 3.00GHz with 16 GB-RAM, DVD-ROM, USB port, 23" LCD
    Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Software: MS Office 2019, LibreOffice, SPSS 27, LaTex, Citavi 6, aktuelles Matlab, Statistica 13, Adobe InDesign CS6
  • Associated hardware:
    Printer: b/w and colour laser printer in room A256 Projection: large-screen projection, SmartBoard, whiteboard

Prerequisites

The service can be used by:

  • Students, teachers, researchers and staff with a currently valid personal university login.

The use of the service requires compliance with the following regulations:

  • For all services of the University Computer Centre, the IuK usage regulations of the University Computer Centre of the University of Leipzig apply in principle. Misuse of services of the University Computer Centre may lead to the termination of the usage permit and, if applicable, to criminal proceedings.
